As of January 14th, 2012, Board Now Games has ceased operations. We are still nominally hosting a game night at Tutti on Wednesday evenings, but the only games we have left for sale are these ones. Thank you for your support as we gave it a try.

Board Now Games was conceived from a desire to bring people together in a fun, engaging manner that facilitates community, creativity, imagination and entertainment.  The games of the last century, Monopoly, Sorry, Uno and the like had their place, but the world has changed and we are bored now.

Bored with games that are all based on dice and chance, we want to see more thought, community strategy and imagination in the fun time we spend with friends and family.  According to Blake Eskin of the Washington Post, the new era of games,”presents a world in which resources are limited and fortunes are intertwined, and serves as a model for solving contemporary problems such as trade imbalances, nuclear proliferation, and climate change. If we are reaching the end of a period of American supremacy, a winner-take-all game such as Monopoly teaches bad habits.”

We are the cure to those habits.  We not only provide a small retail space to buy these games in the back of the best local coffee house in the east Boulder County, we provide in store and in home services for those interested in a more customized and personal approach to games and ideas for your freinds and family.
